Welcome to TEFLWORLD.ORG - your one stop TEFL website.  Our aim is to offer you the largest selection of up to date jobs and training courses around the world in an easy to navigate site.   This site has been set up by 2 TEFL teachers frustrated with trawling through sites with too much confusing information.  We want you to be able to view jobs/training courses in a clear, logical format that is easy to use.

 

The founders have a wealth of experience in both business and recruitment from their previous careers.  As a result you will not find any C.V.s on the site as we believe that the majority of employers do not have the time or inclination to read unlimited quantities of resumes, many of which are out of date.  We feel with rising unemployment in the current economic climate, that many more people will look for some form of  TEFL training.  This will lead to stiff competition in the job market and therefore an up to date C.V. is imperative. 

 

We intend to ensure that all listings are current.  Jobs can be searched by student type, employer type or geographical location.  The geographical location is also available via google map.  By clicking on the map of the world in your chosen area, you can clearly see the schools or organisations that are recruiting now.

 

From the employers' point of view, we have tried to make the process of placing an advert as easy as possible.  We have also taken into consideration that for many employers English will not be their first language.  The reason we actually decided to launch this site was because our last employer simply could not navigate or understand the site she was using.  Despite the fact that her English was very good, she still had great difficulty in following the procedure to successfully place and advert.
